Tiny Tip: It’s Worth Investing in Good Tools

I was in the garden today.
Not relaxing in the garden. Actually working in it. Digging, weeding, judging a very leggy Daphne odora.

Well…a while back I used a professional gardener who came in to tame a few slightly out-of-control shrubs.
One of his hand tools got left behind in my bush… (I mean… we’re all adults here 🫣)

Naturally, I picked it up.

And Wow!
It was an amazing tool… worked beautifully. Sharper, easier, less effort… far better than mine.

I did briefly think… surely he’s missed this?
But by then… there was no turning back.
It was mine now.

..Anyway. No big dramatic conclusion here.

Just made me realise how much cheap tools affect your whole experience.
Same with jewelry making tools really!

If something feels harder than it should, it might not be your skills. It might just be slightly cheap tools quietly ruining your day.

Food for thought.
Now I’m off to admire my tool again like the absolute wild woman I’ve become 🤪.

If you fancy a little upgrade moment, I’ve shared the pliers I use and a few I genuinely rate.
