- More comfortable to wear
- Noticeably stronger
- The most kink-resistant beading wire
- Gives jewelry that polished ‘shop bought’ finish
- It’s tarnish resistance
The Not-So-Good Bits
- More expensive
- Slightly softer to handle while designing
- Once you use it… you become unwilling to go back!

My Honest Little Jewelry-Maker Opinion
If budget allows…
I’d always, always skip any really cheap wires and fast forward straight to a good 49-strand wire.
Or at least try it once alongside the wire you already use. Because when you make the same design with both, the difference becomes much easier to feel. The bracelet moves differently, sits differently, and somehow feels a little softer and more finished.
It’s actually quite a useful experiment, especially if you’ve ever wondered why some pieces feel more professional than others.
