The Best Platforms to Sell Handmade Jewelry (Especially for Beginners)
Turn your jewelry into consistent sales with the right platforms

Ever thought you would love to be your own boss?
Working in your comfies, with constant coffee to hand and your favourite furry friend next to you 🤗

Running your own online jewelry store is a bit of a wild ride. It’s fun, magical, and often sprinkled with behind-the-scenes chaos.
But that said, it can be hugely rewarding and wonderfully freeing once you find your feet. If you’re feeling the itch, I’ve popped together 10 online platforms below that are well worth a look if you want to consider selling your handmade jewelry. Have a little explore and do a bit of homework before you take the leap, choosing the right place to sell your jewelry really does matter. I’ve personally sold on several of these platforms over the years (which, now I think about it, might deserve its own post – so watch out for that one!).
This post is especially helpful if you’re:
- just tinkering with the idea of selling your jewelry
- testing the waters
- or quietly wondering if anyone will actually buy your jewelry 🫣
If you’re new to selling handmade jewelry online, you may also find my Jewelry Business Bumper Checklist helpful. It covers many of the practical things beginners often overlook when setting up their jewelry store & business.
Quick little note:
Some platforms have large amounts of buyers actively searching and browsing, so your products can be discovered more easily (think busy high street). Others are more like a boutique in a quiet little side street. They do have visitors (a lot smaller footfall) so you’ll usually need to drive your own further traffic using Pinterest, social media, email, or ads. Watch for the icons below to see which is which.
🔥 Built-in traffic
🌱 Grow your own traffic
For beginners: many of these platforms give you access to global buyers, which is exciting… but it also adds extra layers like international postage, longer delivery times, and customs considerations. If you’re just starting out, it’s perfectly sensible to begin locally and expand as your confidence (and systems) grow.

A whole mix of places where your handmade jewelry can step out into the world and find its people 🤗
Truthfully, there’s no one perfect platform (sad but freeing). If you’re just starting out, pick one that feels manageable, get your pieces live, and see what happens (your customers will tell you). You don’t need to be everywhere at once, overwhelm can creep in, especially on the accounting side!
So, start small, stay curious, and tweek, tweek, tweek as you go!
At the end of the day, these platforms are just the shop window, the real magic is in your style and the pieces you create.

Hi there!
Love the list! I’m actually one of the owners (and developer) of Crafter’s Market UK, so thank you so much for looking into our marketplace!
Just a quick correction, we only charge 5% commission for our free membership, not 10% 🙂
Thanks again!
David
Hi David,
Lovely to hear from you, and thank you for the clarification on your commission.
That’s awesome 5%. I’ve updated it within the post.
Thanks!
