Well THIS was a delightful discovery this morning.
My payment gateway had somehow switched itself OFF.
OFF!
Meaning customers couldn’t purchase products… basically they hit a digital brick wall. Which mayyyyy explain the mysterious silence on the sales front in the last 24 hours.
And honestly?
THIS is the side of having your own online store nobody talks about.
You’re not just making jewelry.
You’re also:
- tech support
- website monitor
- plugin updater
- checkout tester
- bookkeeper 🫣
It’s the trade-off of running your own store instead of selling somewhere like Etsy.
More things breaking while you innocently drink coffee thinking everything is dandy.
Anyway.
