Meet Tickle: My Furry (and Very Demanding) Studio Sidekick

If you’ve ever wondered who really runs things behind the scenes here… it’s not me!

It’s Tickle – my loud, opinionated, sleep-obsessed cat who has zero respect for personal space, deadlines, or my need to access my keyboard. She’s a…well fed, furry dictator with a BIG personality and a knack for knowing the exact moment to plonk herself across whatever I’m working on.

This is Tickle in her natural habitat: sprawled, half-snoozing, half-judging, usually on top of something important.

A Few Things You Should Know About Tickle:

She believes she’s the CEO. I’m just here to open Tickle treats and process returns.
Her favourite pastimes include knocking beads off tables and yelling at me.
She’s very vocal.
She naps like she’s in training.
And she has an uncanny ability to know exactly when I need to concentrate… and makes it impossible.

But, I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰. Tickle keeps me company, makes me laugh when things are stressful, she reminds me to slow down every now and then (usually by forcefully sitting on my laptop until I give in). I also stop to take a lot of photos in a day as she looks so cute!

So if you ever hear me mention ‘missed deadlines’, you’ll know who’s really to blame.

Stay tuned – I’m sure Tickle will make plenty of other appearances here. Possibly uninvited. Probably on the jewellery table. Almost definitely on my keyboard!
